Just a short 45-minute drive from our home in Sunderland, this beach is the perfect spot for a fun family day out. In this video, we set up camp, enjoy some delicious home-cooked food, and soak in the sights of people enjoying the beach with Jet Skis, motorboats, and even horseback riding in the sea. We also take a moment to share the story of the iconic statue, The Couple, which stands proudly in the bay as a symbol of the deep connection between Newbiggin and the sea. Today, we take our cubs to experience the iconic London Eye—or as they call it, the “giant wheel.” With its breathtaking 360-degree views of London, the London Eye has quickly become a family favourite, and it’s an experience they’ll never forget! After a day full of sightseeing and travel, we head to Victoria Market Halls to try Roti King Gopal's Corner, where we enjoy authentic Malaysian Tamil cuisine, including the famous banana leaf rice meal. Victoria Market Halls is a vibrant food spot in London where you can find a range of delicious cuisines from around the world—definitely worth a visit!

Join us on Day 2 of our London adventure as we explore the city’s most famous landmarks and indulge in a delicious sushi experience! We start the day with a walk across the iconic Tower Bridge, and by night, we return to admire its stunning lights. In this video, we take you along for a stroll through the bustling Westminster Bridge, snapping photos at Big Ben, and ending the day with a cozy dinner at Sushi Tokoro, one of London’s top-rated sushi spots.

In this video, we’re wrapping up our unforgettable long weekend in London with an action-packed Day 3.
We start the day with a beautiful breakfast at the Sky Garden, enjoying breathtaking views of the city from London’s highest public garden. Then, we take a thrilling ride on the IFS Cloud Cable Car for a unique aerial experience of the city’s skyline.

Our journey continues with a stroll through Greenwich Peninsula, where we discover the impressive Demon with Bowl sculpture and explore the vibrant Chromatic River Walk. After a quick visit to the London Cable Car Experience Centre, we hop back on the cable car to head towards Westminster. From there, we walk past 10 Downing Street and make our way to iconic landmarks like Big Ben, the Palace of Westminster, and Trafalgar Square.
We finish the day with a relaxing stop at Victoria Tower Gardens and a final stroll through Whitehall before heading back to London King’s Cross for our return journey home. It’s been an incredible trip, and we hope you’ve enjoyed exploring London with us!
