As part of our exciting Easter 2025 journey through Switzerland, we’re taking a magical detour from Zurich to explore the stunning Italian-speaking region of Switzerland and northern Italy! For two nights, we’ll be travelling to the beautiful city of Lugano, the breathtaking shores of Lake Como, and the vibrant heart of fashion and culture — Milan. Lugano will charm us with its blend of Swiss elegance and Italian flair, where palm-lined lakeshores meet snow-capped peaks. From there, we head to Lake Como, one of the most picturesque spots in the world — we’re ready for those iconic views, charming villages, and maybe even a gelato or two by the water! And of course, no trip would be complete without a visit to Milan, where we’ll explore historic landmarks, soak in the city’s energy, and indulge in some delicious Italian cuisine….

Known as the gateway to Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe, this charming alpine town promises an unforgettable blend of natural beauty, snowy adventures, and cosy mountain vibes. We’re looking forward to experiencing everything Chamonix has to offer—from cable car rides up to Aiguille du Midi with jaw-dropping panoramic views, to wandering through the picturesque town centre filled with quaint shops and cafés. Our cubs are all set for snowy fun, and we can’t wait to explore glaciers, taste Alpine treats, and soak in the magic of this winter wonderland. …

We’re gearing up for an unforgettable trip to Cragside, a fascinating Victorian home and estate nestled in the stunning Northumberland countryside. Known as a pioneering marvel, this historic house is filled with ingenious gadgets designed for efficient living, a true testament to the vision of inventor Lord William Armstrong and his wife, Lady Margaret Armstrong. Our visit promises plenty of adventure as we explore the sprawling 1,000-acre estate. Highlights include wandering through the Pinetum, where towering non-native conifers create an awe-inspiring canopy, and taking a peaceful burn-side walk, accompanied by the soothing sounds of burbling water and birdsong.
